Mercedes 0405NH engine overheating due to the fandrive unit failure.

Carbon steel billet pulleys for buses

Due to the dusty conditions and the fact that most OEM pulleys are cast iron most rear engined buses suffer from pulley and belt system failure.
Ross TuffBond has taken that into consideration and have been manufacturing carbon steel billet pulleys for a range of Mercedes, Scania and Volvo buses, used by State Transit Authority buses and the Westbus/ Hills buses in Sydney along with many others, all with great success.
Due to the high carbon content of the material used by Ross, these pulleys will outlast OEM products by four times. Breakdowns and overheating problems, due to pulley wear and belts coming off, become a thing of the past.
